Residence

48, Navjeevan Vihar - New Delhi, India

Located in the heart of South Delhi, this apartment spans across an area of 2500 Sq.ft. With an eclectic design theme, this home features a deliberate colour scheme that helps create cohesion inspite of the different styles of furnitures and accessories used throughout.

The interior design style that existed prior to the makeover lacked visual interest, interesting perspectives as well as a connection between spaces. The all off-whites and beige color palette made the space dull. In order to add character and create a modern refined space, the hues and blues were introduced throughout the house. Keeping the color scheme cohesive, different styles were adopted in the furniture.

Furnitures pieces like the living room chairs represent the mid-century modern style while the Scandinavian design style has been employed in the dining table, chairs and the window grills that visually connects the living to the dining. The bohemian cushions and rugs make the space more lively and the exposed lighting adds a steam punk charm to the socialising spaces.

All these intermingling design eras come together beautifully, making an eclectic interior come to life!
